Theo's Third Birthday

Please excuse the long delay since last weekend's post. It turns out that, among all the other things Theo got for his birthday, he got pneumonia! It's been a hectic week and the actual diagnosis didn't come until Friday. Modern antibiotics are truly amazing; less than six hours after the first dose, Theo was fever-free and back to normal.

Anyway, we held Theo's airplane-themed party at his coop preschool on Saturday midday; everyone had a blast. Here's Theo blowing out his candles:



After the party, Theo opened two presents before nap, then the rest after nap. On Sunday -- his actual birthday -- he had an entire table full of presents. See all the photos and videos. Here's Theo playing with one of his new trains:
